Super Street Fighter IV

The three main chapters of the saga have been several drafts, rebalancing between small and large innovations before realizing their full potential. There is no guarantee therefore that Super Street Fighter IV is the last of his line. Still, after many sessions inflamed, the finding is both clear and expected: that easily supplants its evolution model while retaining enough below the elbow for a third round.

Summarize the program for Super Street Fighter IV in a nutshell is finally easy: 10 new characters including two new songs, new Ultra per head, five new sets, and an online mode retyped in large widths, packed is weighed. Stated like this, one could almost wonder if forty euros are not required too. This should not forget that at the time of Super Street Fighter II for Super Nintendo had to blow up the savings account for a far, but far less generous. Certainly, as we shall see, Super Street Fighter IV does not offer everything we were entitled to expect but it would be an exaggeration to argue openly about its price. That being said, we shall not return.

Super Street Fighter IVThe greatest strength of Super Street Fighter IV is obviously his casting. Capcom dares to 10 in one batch, cash, never seen. But where the previous installment in the series often greeted their quota of new mugs, SSFIV be “happy” with two actors completely unprecedented: Juri and Hakan. Two figures are total opposites. Juri is the kind of character immediately appealing. From its first design, sexy, feline frankly inspired. By then his style is accessible, dramatic and terribly effective. No doubt this is a protagonist destination for newcomers. With an arsenal of outrageous moves priorities, an air kick, which besides being relatively safe and particularly difficult to anticipate, offers Ultra juggle totally free, the fine should be imposed as a Korean opponent must each game session online.

We see here that Turkey will be shunned by the majority of players. Bargains for the most need who have an excellent chance here to catch their world with a minimum of control. For Hakan no shortage of arguments. The wrestler can lubricate the body and thus boost two main characteristics: distance mug and power. Its Ultra II anti-air is really terrible, its amazing mugs (one of which may be delayed for the surprise) and it’s normal and beneficial particularly violent when it comes to zoning (particularly associated with a direction). The guy may even go for a Focus Attack if properly lubricated. Never overlook the lubricant. In short, far from being the joke character anticipated by some, Hakan not blush (just kidding) face Zangief and T-Haw.

The eight other challengers are already better known players. Here is a little faster packed guidebook. In the family I want Street Fighter Zero Cody, Guy and Adon. The convict debonair style  is undoubtedly the future star of this back in the spotlight. A powerful and has a varied range of techniques (sham, anti-air, sliding, etc) Cody is a strong character, accessible and tremendously effective. Perhaps less attractive at first glance, his rival in love, Guy, will require more practice to be played correctly. His style based runs can be reached in various ways quite close to an El Fuerte with far more impact. Finally the irritant Adon, raising a few scattered Sagat, has all the weapons to develop a game vicious laundry. Extremely swift and often safe, rising has his Jaguar which is more excellent in the priorities identified. Side Super Street Fighter II X too, the transition has been fairly well lived. Especially for Dee-Jay, who, failing to hit hard, proved to be an extensive character, with the full panoply of good presser. Certainly the most compelling duo Revenue immemorial. For its part, T-Hawk is no longer the monster SSFIIX but doing very well anyway. Its particularly discouraging in normal zoning, its anti-air Buster Tomahawk quite good (you do not jump on the big as some would say) or the scope of its Condor Spike are many weapons that make a T-Hawk chopper difficult enough .

And last but not least, a trio of high class from the invincible Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto. The first boxer aristocrat of his state has lost nothing (or almost) in doubt. Target combo galore, ducking short, medium and long distance, a dragon, etc. overhead. The fellow has plenty to emerge as one of the best characters in this opus and should therefore attract a large number of players. Like Ibuki elsewhere, whose style while dash, mugs and target combo combined with its potential for high jump cancel archi-violent should make people happy! Low-tier in 3rd Strike (despite the recent achievements of some), Ibuki should be classified in much better SSFIV. Finally THE disaster of this album’s name is Makoto. An intentional killing by Yoshinori Ono after a first draft very close to the original character of 3rd Strike, Capcom teams have changed her mind, deeming it too violent. Totally restrained, unable to develop his game footage murderers (EX Hayate absorb its not even once!), Devoid of the solutions found, poor Makoto, yet sublime in 3rd Strike, will earn the match-up unpalatable. Quite a mess which we hope nevertheless that some courageous arrive to save some leftovers. Farewell my love. But apart from that misconduct, the balance of the graft mass was very positive. I just have to see if the roster will retain a balance over time, but for this it will easily wait six months.

The World Warriors

However it is already possible to decide on the balance promised by Capcom. Unfortunately it seems that the publisher has taken this requirement seriously. It was nice to note the disappearance of many abuses (such as double key support to some, overkill of Sagat, the supernatural the lariat Hitbox Zangief and other celebrations of the genre), some are still in the game (like the famous shot unblockable found the example) and others make their appearance (like the Ultra II Zangief totally rolling in). We cannot say that the work done by Yoshinori Ono takes teams of mechanical precision. Instead of big blow shovel. In sum, the idea behind the project is simple: upgrade the characters in SFIV fluff (often by providing a much more efficient Ultra II) and calm the heat of the big top tier of its kind Sagat or Ryu. For the rest, we do not touch anything. So, we will not speak of a gap between SSFIV SFIV and, at most a small laugh. Understand by this that critics of the game will remain. In a completely different note, Capcom did not much trampled to accompany the ten new sets of characters introduced in this album. Just four arenas, certainly very pretty (even beautiful in the case of internship in Kenya), but too few to meet the expectations of players! The old sets are still there but have not experienced any change (except the arena of Seth). In fact, visually the game has not budged an iota. In short, on this one point, Capcom has really done the minimum.

So, it is not surprising that the menu will not entertain new single player mode. We find virtually the same program as in Street Fighter IV with one difference: the Challenge Mode which has received a little help lifting. Nothing transcends it said tests of the kind have jumped Time Attack (all figures are now available at launch, why inflict them?) And all the challenges of a character are now immediately accessible. However we do not really understand why Capcom has removed the display of current orders challenge requiring us to freeze the action to view. In addition, to compensate for the removal of timed tests, the bonuses are training their comeback. In addition to serving as interludes in Arcade mode can be assayed to envy after being released. No interest since it says is strictly the same tests as those of Street Fighter II. It would still have appreciated a little more freshness, like that proposed 3rd Strike with the test balloons to block. As for the Arcade mode, we still salute the appearance of small cut-scenes introduction to each game between rivals. Finally the animated sequences were given a little more care but their achievement is worthy of an episode of DBZ stopgap.

To retrieve a bit of novelty must be addressed on the versus online. Stable Street Fighter IV, however, sorely missing options and has recently taken a nasty blow on the part of the last representatives of the genus. One can also observe the emergence of Team Battle allows two teams of two, three or four players to compete. In anticipation of their battles, the participants in the running can trim the fat after watching the current match. Ideal for warm up before entering the arena! In addition, each session starts now from a room that can accommodate up to eight players with only the immutable rule “I take the win! . Therefore, it will sometimes take his misfortune patiently waiting since necessarily the number of players occupying the room. Regarding the games listed, Capcom had the good idea to prepare two different ladders: the first counts the total number of point earned in combat, while the second is a ranking for each character. Finally the last feature of the online game introduced by SSFIV, the chain Replay. As its name suggests, this mode allows you to share games with other players and ranked them through the sub-menu My Channel. Do remains is to await the availability of Tournament mode (totally free but tragically the gaming online) to complete a menu entirely satisfactory.

Conclusion

While some are sure to castigate Capcom to the little work done on the merits of the game, Super Street Fighter IV describe a simple patch sold at high prices (as we have read it everywhere) is exaggerated. Of course, we were expecting more. We hope it better. But it must be admitted generally, the content is there. Ten people, mostly well integrated into the game system and a method of online game provided much more: the forty euros to us are not stolen! It would of course enjoyed a few extra decorations, more content for the game offline, bonus courses less dusty, but never mind. Super Street Fighter IV will easily take the relay and to reconnect the few deserters from Street Fighter IV. As for those who disparaged it, it’s a safe bet for staying in their positions. Finally, newcomers will find it a fighting game and spectacular generous ideal for fully enter into the wonderful world of versus fighting!

We all know we can’t live without our Tv sets. However our other gadgets don’t get such undying devotion, even though they are a big part of our daily lives. They make the meals we eat, clean our clothes, and even wash our dishes. So when one stops working, it is a huge difficulty. I would also like to say, not only are the posts well written, but the design of your web-site is excellent. I was able to navigate from article to article and locate what I was looking for with ease. Keep up the great work you are doing, and I will be back many times in the future.
